I really don’t understand. I csnt figure out the REAL reason for stoping the pipeline. We all know all of our politicians are bought and paid for. We also know climate change is the bullshti lie excuse to shut down the pipeline. Is it that the owners of the pipeline only have GOP in their pockets? I find that hard to believe. I saw somewhere where various transport agencies (trains) have a lot of Dems in their pocket. If the pipeline doesn’t exist, trucks and trains make the money to haul the oil instead.

Warren Buffet's oil hauling railroad business would suffer great financial hardship.

Warren Buffet, I have read, owns a LOT of BNSF railroad which would be used to transport the oil instead of the pipeline; by some accounts, to the tune of $10 billion/year in revenue.

APPEASING THE LEFT AND...

Biden and Pelosi and all of the corrupt asshats are hugely invested in oil in Ukraine and many other places and cutting off America's exports will make them big bucks while killing American jobs and independence

BNSF, the railway company that is currently, and now will continue to transport the crude coming from Canada that Keystone XL would move, stands to benefit greatly from delays in the pipeline as it costs about 3x as much to move oil by rail and truck as by pipeline. The owner of BNSF, Warren Buffet, is a prolific donor to democrats (no supprise). So what it comes down to is democrats getting rich at the expense of the American people, who could've possibly guessed that would be the case..

And that's only the north American front. Those same democrats are heavily invested in foreign oil/energy companies as well, so when North American energy suffers, they benefit even more.

It's all about getting rich, at any cost

Warren Buffett donated to Joe. Warren owns the trains and all the railroads that connect to west Canada. Warren stands to make 2b a year transporting the oil. Trains can only carry so much on each trip, though, whereas a pipeline would be a constant flow. So we'll now buy oil from the middle east again to take care of the slack, and guess who has stakes in middle eastern oil? Our own politicians.

I used to actually like connect the dots when I did them in the newspaper's comic section. Adult connect the dots sucks.

MOSTLY it’s pandering to the clean energy crowd.

There is also an undercurrent of tribal sovereignty and Native communities at play. Sections of the pipeline were slated to pass through sacred land which the US Gov has sworn not to do and then did a few dozen times already.

In addition to the political/spiritual concerns there is also a fair deal of concern about potential contamination of the water since many people living in Indian country rely on wells and underground water streams.

BUT that’s not the real driver I assure you. Joe Biden has zero concern for people on places like Pine Ridge or Rosebud. I’d expect to hear this used as a justification but no-one ever really cares about Natives until they have ulterior motives.

The greenies are against any oil and gas industry. They just want to destroy it all. They own Biden now.
