Slaves are taught "power corrupts", so they won't strive to get into a position where they can do meaningful change.

People in power are taught "power corrupts" so they can say "I did that, but it's not my fault. I'm just like that because I am in power."

And if absolute power corrupts absolutely, that would mean that god is absolutely corrupted.

Um no they have literally proven that power can corrupt people. Most people are not paradigms of virtue and are subject to being corrupted.
