Andrew Jackson was president at this time. He was tasked with enforcing a judicial ruling and he refused. Doesn’t really apply to Xio Baiden who will not only enforce unconstitutional leftist court rulings, but abuse the executive order process to assert this agenda. I don’t see how this applies.

Although Jackson said the quote in a federal government context, it applies just the same to the states. This is about the states using nullification to ignore federal executive orders or regulations even if a federal court upholds them. Blue states did this when they declared themselves sanctuary cities/states for illegal aliens.

Ok but this logic could also be used by Beijing Biden to abuse our civil liberties despite favorable court rulings.

Of course and blue states have already done this, but it is a way to still keep a republic as the power remains with the states. Further, ignoring unconstitutional laws is within the right of the people. There is no obligation to live under unjust laws.

The alternative is outright secession or civil war which may still in the end occur.
