As a person who donated to Trump (only a total of 50$). Receiving death threat, phone calls, and fan mail it is only scary the first time. Them going after your job, it depends on your state. but honestly your active on this website so I think it's safe to say they will eventually come after you. Might as well be proud that you stand for freedom.
