Both Barnes and Dershowitz offered to represent Trump in this and Barnes has said Trump's people know. Dershowitz even offered to do it for free I believe. I wish Trump would have picked one of them.

Do we need a hashtag or something? How can we get the message out and make sure Trump see it?

Been saying this for months that Barnes is a good fit for Trump at this stage of the game. He would love to bring the spice and compare actual word for word tweets for other members of congress who wanted destruction to the floor. The guy flew to Georgia for free to help out and focus on just the legality of the election process and do a real audit and got railroaded by Lin Wood's efforts with dominion.

Trump keeps making MANY bad decisions on personnel. Barnes is consistently truthful and precise, no matter what, and that's what earned my respect long term, even if it pissed me off a few times along the way.

Maybe Barnes didn't successfully sell himself to Trump in the short term, but that doesn't mean Barnes has failed to sell himself to a LOT of other people who care about the truth and care about results.

Don't be so sure that Barnes has failed.... because even now it looks like Trump has finally switched gears and decided to use this trial as a means to go on the offensive, which is what Barnes has recommended for weeks.

Phill Kline or even Mr. Clements would have been better.

Both of these outstanding citizens know this case had Voter Fraud, Erection Fraud, and Ballot Fraud.

Chapter and Verse

correction: election fraud, although GEOTUS did cause mass erection everywhere....

I've been saying erection fraud on purpose, because you know the democrats failed to get it up.

If I'm ever president, I'm keeping Barnes on retainer, even if just as an advisor.

There are so many times over the last few months I've been mildly annoyed at Barnes, or doubted something he said. I even stopped watching him for a week out of frustration at one point. And then Barnes turned out to be 100% right. Results matter.

I might hire him as an advisor anyway, if I ever start earning a little more money than I do today.

For a profession based around minutia they really make a lot of typos, on average docs

Umm, the secretaries are the ones who type up the documents, not the actual lawyers.

Not at this important level ! This is a top special event that no lawyer can give to a secretary!

TrumpNutt45 2 points ago +3 / -1

False! A lot of attorneys type their own documents now. One of the primary causes of typos in my opinion and based on years of working with attorneys.

No it’s intentional to make Trump look bad. Pennsylvania lawyer who is there because Trump bashed Pennsylvania for their election fraud, the worst of all.

In many cases these are scans of the physical copies and the typos are the result of text recognition bugs in the software.

bonejack 5 points ago +5 / -0

Honestly, I am. Is this pretty normal?

OK, thanks for explaining. That makes sense. I assumed this was the final document sent to the court, or in this case the senate.

You forgot to mention OCR

Yeah. Doesn’t really matter I think.

If you read the articles of impeachment, I’m sure you’ll find plenty there too.

Spell check missed that one lol.

HocusLocus 11 points ago +11 / -0

It takes an experienced proofreader to catch errors that pass spellcheck. when it is mission critical I have even read the document word for word, backwards. It short circuits all skimming and can raise exceptions even with correctly spelled words ('Unites?') or words and phrases repeated in the document by annoying habit of the writer (reasonable, obviously, better expressed as positive/negative, excessive use of etc., etc.)

MassRelay 4 points ago +4 / -0

HAhahahah, I was trying to figure out how it got by the spell checker. Reading it to myself: "Unite - ESS" like what word could it be confusing it for?? I'm low energy today.

DefenderDad 1 point ago +1 / -0

This unites us. Its a regular word.

unite: bring together in a common cause.

Unites: something or someone that brings together...

United: entities working together for a common cause

snoopy3210 2 points ago +3 / -1

Nooooo. It was intentional to make Trump look bad. We have a top Pennsylvania establishment lawyer, I think he had worked for the AG in the past and now after Trump correctly attacked that state for one of the worst thuggish behaviour, kicking republicans out of the counting rooms.. of committing fraud... voila he suddenly becomes Trump lawyer at the worst moment for Trump. Trump is being naive here.

2
Doggfaceponysoldier 2 points ago +2 / -0

Perhaps is intentional.
