Who the fuck is getting this vaccine while pregnant? It hasn't been tested in pregnant people (or so I assume, not sure). An incident of medicine being OK for most people but horrible for pregnant people is literally why the FDA was founded!
I mean, there's no reason to expect the vaccine to cause harm during pregnancy, but maybe it does. If it makes your body produce a protein that you're immune system then attacks... isn't it possible that the vaccine makes the babies body produce the protein, and then the mothers immune system attacks the baby? Is that possible? I'm no biotechnology guy, I'm just runnung some basic deductions here

I think you're right but, fear can take us to some questionable places.
The instructions say, 'not for the pregnant' so, if the story's true, the medical team must be somehow culpable, too.
