Wrong, it takes an economics genius to understand how to so thoroughly trash an economy like the commies always do.

Yup! It's not just blind luck to destroy the economy, it takes lots of planning and skill to execute while making yourself look as dumb as possible.

I think you mean that the left (most people if we are honest) have no idea of how economics works. There are two areas that I recommend to people to study. First; there is no such thing as a free good or service, it is literally impossible as in it defies the very laws of physics. Example, you can literally not even think for free. It requires calories (20% of daily intake).

Second; Economic Calculation.

Anything that disrupts or interferes with natural Economic Calculation is an attack on market forces. Socialists*, fascists* and crony capitalists are all guilty of this. Economic Calculation is not limited to mankind, all creatures practice it to some degree without even knowing it.

Example; The fox thinks to itself in some form if the expenditure of calories is worth chasing down a rabbit. That is an economic calculation.

*(Socialism & fascism are codependent and intertwined. They can't not exist without each other.)

I always love how the assholes who mandate that someone else pay others more labels said targeted payers as greedy when they shut down and layoff to cover the mandated wage increase.

Nothing can be more greedy than demanding someone else pay for something they want.

Long Beach. Major port. Union workers. Another payoff on the backs of the low wage earner...

“The real reason is that some unions and their members directly benefit from minimum wage increases—even when nary a union member actually makes the minimum wage.

The Center for Union Facts analyzed collective-bargaining agreements obtained from the Department of Labor's Office of Labor-Management Standards. The data indicate that a number of unions in the service, retail and hospitality industries peg their base-line wages to the minimum wage.”. — Forbes.

Retail and some areas of hospitality is no, or low skill work. They should be minimum wage.
