I make a conscious effort every day to buy NON CHINA, not shop at specific stores and help the local business owners (shit I even spent $100 on a local Chinese restaurant and they’re hardworking good people).

All you have to do is search for "made in USA masks" and you get hundreds of results on amazon. There are multiple PPE manufacturers in the USA that produces them and sells on amazon retail.
Being that the "double mask" bullshit is not officially recommended and is instead a misleadia creation stemming from retard Fauci running his mouth, I'd say that you have the makings of a successful lawsuit if you were to somehow suffer injury from them requiring you to wear a "2-layer" mask. Lack off airflow could cause you to get light headed and pass out. Anything could happen.
CDC recommends choosing a mask with "two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric" but they aren't recommending double or triple masking. My wife works at a hospital and they follow the CDC guidelines to the letter. The multiple mask thing came out of Fauci's ass and the misleadia ran with it.
Almost all cloth masks are at least two layers, and some have a filter pocket. It's true that most are from Chyna, but you may be able to find some homemade locally. They usually advertise on local Facebook marketplace pages or signs posted on local business bulletin boards. TL;DR You probably were already in "compliance" with your existing masks.
