Depends on the state and how many conservatives/logical people live there. (But then I repeat myself.) Lots of "required" signs in my neck of the woods but barely any enforcement. It's possible.
Businesses here put the signs up because they have to, but no one enforces it. The local police have stated publicly that they dont care about "mask violators".
I live in Iowa, and admit I don't go out a lot but when I do I have never once wore a mask and like I said never will. I go to the store here and I hardly ever see another person wearing one as well.

Des Moines metro here.... masks are "required" everywhere. I never wear one and nobody says shit. Bars, restaurants, HyVee, the dentist (lol)... nobody says shit.
Most people that are not completely brainwashed know the truth about what is going on especially in the Midwest. Funny the people on the coasts think of us as idiots but it looks like we get the last laugh as they go over the cliff like lemmings, sad really. They need Jesus.

I live in a pretty conservative area so it's generally not a super strict requirement, you kind of learn what places are more lax and what places are run by mask nazis and Karens, but pretty much any further north from where I live is the hive for these mask weirdos who will gladly bend over for their anal swabs in two weeks when the CDC recommends it. All the time I'll see people driving alone in their cars wearing masks and I'm just so so disappointed in humanity.
I have never wore a mask and will not EVER do so.
