They actually haven't thought this through any further than "It's safer, so we should do it". Something only has to be safer, even if only mitigating risk by 0.02% and regardless of the cost in freedom, for the left to accept it ideologically.
We should be advocating full hazmat suits, but I think slowly pushing people there is more realistic.
I've been using this against my lefty BLM supporting friends and especially their wives here in CA. They are PISSED that Newsom is keeping the schools closed and are trying to post all kinds of data about how it is safe to reopen.
Little late for a data-based approach after pushing BLM lies and gun control "if it saves one child" bullshit. I just smile and say we need to keep the schools closed until an ever moving goalposts. First it was the vaccine but now that we are vaccinating people I tell them we dont know if it effective vs all variants so the safest thing is to just stay locked down.
Meanwhile I have a $200k/year tech job, no longer have to commute, and continue to go to the gym and live my childfree blissful life. Gonna move to Texas, start a family, and rent my place in CA out forever so I can continue to profit off their horrible housing policies and politics without being directly exposed to it.
