My asshole stepdad had this former student show up with his strong friends to collect the 100$ he said he'd give him if he ever made it to college when the student was 10 or something. Long story short, I was certain he had been a jerk to that student without knowing anything about the situation. Even though the 100$ was a loss for whole family (I was a young teen) it was worth seeing him shrivel.
