I'm not sure. I seriously doubt it in Gavin's case. Enrique? Maybe, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt because you could frame simply cooperating with the FBI as "informing" if you are a reporter. Anyone who heads a right-wing organization will undoubtedly be questioned by local and federal law enforcement all the time. Im absolutely positive that the FBI have come to Enrique, and probably Joe Biggs as well over the last few years and asked them about member "X",...what do they know about this person...are they in contact...are they aware of said person making threats. Now, you don't have to answer those questions, but it's a judgment call. In my mind, cooperating in that way, especially if you have bad eggs, is not "informing" per-sey...
Actively setting guys up and helping the FBI entrap people...would be a different story entirely.
