I was happy to greet a new employee today at work, a young kid with a bright future. He wore a mask into the office, I guess it makes sense if you're going to go somewhere new where you don't know the culture.
Anyhow, he was informed the mask was optional, and he promptly took it off. Literally no one in our office wears a mask or social distances.
It's nice, and it's not something I should be appreciating, but here I am.
These are dark times.
I work at a super liberal company and I have to wear a face diaper when I’m around people. I get so excited when people take their mask off. I’ve been written up a few times for not wearing a mask but fuck it. I’ve been in the shit everyday since March 2020 and still have yet to even catch a fuckin cold. I eat out everyday to help local small businesses, leave my house and go to work everyday and I do not saturate my hands disinfectant. I just wash my hands after using the bathroom that’s probably it. Call me dirty but I probably have a better immune system than most liberals. In times like this it’s great to see other people who aren’t afraid of other humans.
