I live in Idaho. The state police, the city police, the sheriff's won't ever enforce a confiscation. They do NOT want another Ruby Ridge. They know better than to fuck with someone from Idaho and their guns. More than a couple of feds have been killed over them here. We have straight extremist militias here up north. Like anti government, making bombs in their bunkers in the woods extremist.
Even in liberal CT no one is going to go around and confiscate guns. Cops more than anybody.
I think the plan is making them illegal and/or taxing them.
Civil penalties, criminal arrest warrants, etc.
It’s not so much they will kick down doors and take your guns. You just won’t be able to live “normally” or without the fear of being arrested (out of the house), fired from work, rejected from banks (civil fines/Leins), etc
