Third party is NOT an option, never has been and never will be, historically and mathematically speaking under the current winner takes all system. The answer is still a reform of the GOP by putting new people in, and there're a few things that must be done: 1. Build a solid base of the 75 million plus working class people; 2. Set a clear vision of the future and a pathway to get there; 3. Purge all the sellout Bush republicans; 4. Resist the uniparty cabal's tyranny at local level.
The most important one is No 2, the party needs a direction and some real substance. The old conservatives hold dear of their rights to free speech and free trade, they even idolize those values, but here's the kicker - those freedoms are actually enabling the commies to do whatever they want, that's why we've got the soft totalitarianism we end up in today. Trump was as close to a libertarian president as we'll probably ever get. Both sides should have been happy with him had the hatred not blinded them. So many good things could've gotten done for the country if people just acted normal and put America first. But...
