They are an inconsequential buffer between us and the real power.

The truth of the matter is we don't even know who's in charge, or why things are the way they are any more, or the plan moving forward. It's likely just large machines of people with no one truly in control. We're all pawns to the large conglomerations of people working purely to pump out larger dollar signs in a system not meant for greater good, but arbitrary larger numbers.

Many of us are sitting here dumbstruck knowing the truth that government is a big useless facade. And we're adrift at sea, and the captain is up in a big ivory tower and they don't give a fuck what your opinion is.

The only thing we know is they are lying and manipulating us in ways that not respectful or truthful.

The world feels so chaotic and random right now. Out of our control and not in any way interested in open discourse or serious discussions on how to make it better. We have been removed from our society and government and this fact is eating at us at large.

You can feel it, we're all just sitting around waiting for someone to come in and pick up the pieces, and the only machine that seems to be operating is the fleece machine of yore, and everyone can see behind the curtain.

It's all an awkward, embarrassing charade for everyone involved.

We can only hope that there are those with the means and determination working to put someone in the drivers seat who doesn't have their head full of new aged nonsense who gives a fuck. We need more Trumps in the background getting shit back on course amidst the insanity.
