A leftist today was going on about how the right-wing is crazy and dangerous because they think Jewish laser beams started the forest fires in the USA. I haven't been keeping up to date in my politics. Sounds a little bazaar but I suspect this isn't actually the truth? Perhaps something to do with Israeli Satellites, Space Force and Chinese Experimental Weapons that are all true but then merged into something? I dunno... Can someone enlighten me?

The leftist was my dad. He's glued onto mainstream news. Doesn't browse 4chan, ever. If it's on Apple News or CNN he's seen it. He gets easily caught up in mainstream news concoctions. He's convinced Trump told everyone to drink bleach still and refuses to see that any differently.
If he's telling me about Jewish laser beams, a mainstream news source ran the story.
