I know donating blood in itself is a great thing for those who need it, but if I have COVID antibodies will donating blood be able to transfer any of those antibodies?

Currently suffering this WuFlu joke.... couple cold sweats at night and a fever from time to time and that’s about it

Convalescent plasma is what you're looking for.

So I take it that donating my plasma with these antibodies would be a benefit

I'd honestly have to check the efficacy. I haven't had good anecdotal results with it, but I know it's an approved treatment modality at hospitals. I think there is a delay in many cases due to scarcity as well as required blood type matching. All I know is that it wouldn't hurt to donate, but I think you would want to ensure they are doing it for the express purpose of getting the convalescent plasma for COVID-19 tx.

I had The Coof and now donate Convalescent Plasma. I got a t-shirt and a free appetizer from Ruby Tuesday. No money, but seriously if it helps someone so desperately sick I'll be that 'hero.'

The donation center assured me that the plasma is in demand. They actually return your platelets to your body so you don't walk out tired. Takes less than an hour to help end this stupid shutdown bullshit.

If you get the vaccine you are disqualified from donating Convalescent Plasma. Long Live the Herd.

That’s good to hear! Now I just need to know which donation center as the best interest of the patients rather then best interest of highest bidder (hospitals/institutions)

At the plasma center near me, they put you on a special program if you have antibodies and pay you a fuck-ton more per donation.

You can only donate blood once every six months. You can donate plasma twice per week and make a lot more money.

Not really in it for the money, but yea, once I’m get my negative tests and outside of “quarantine” restrictions, I’ll be sure to donate

Tested positive last week... covid or not, I did have cold sweats and high fever for a few days. Feel normal now

The tests are fake. Even fruits and animals test positive. You had a cold or the flu.

Ok, serious question... if covid and their tests are fake than how can we explain people having antibodies? And the antibody tests? I went for an antibody test like 5 months ago and showed as not having antibodies. When I go back for an antibody test, it should show as having. So if covid was non existent than the antibody test should come back as negative as well

Who gets tested for antibodies when they're not sick? The tests are rigged. The death toll has gone down during Covid -- almost the same amount of people died in 2020 as did in 2019. Flu was cured somehow because the CDC data shows no flu deaths for 2020. By all means, get the Pfizer Vaccine... if you want your DNA changed.

I ain’t touching that vaccine... the antibody test (different location from where the COVID test was and different medical centers) is free for me so I might as well take it... if it comes back as negative I’ll know some fishy bullshit is going on

Fruits and animals can be tested positive because the test is not taking into account that the sample is not human. It may not be lethal to everybody, and the world may have overreacted, but plenty of folks did end up dying in Italy.

Don't be so dismissive.

As old people do during flu season. You're deluding yourself. DISMISSED!

It may be something you don't like to hear, but the mortality in Italy was way higher than your regular old flu season. Even the crematoriums couldn't handle the load.

Sticking your head in the sand and pretending like the virus doesn't exist doesn't help anyone.
