Amazon has a generous return policy, demo anything you want from them. Return it after heavy use and buy from another store.

Hate to burst your bubble but Amazon has been losing money on their retail sales for years now. Their Amazon Web Services or AWS is where they make their big profits. They then use those AWS profits to sell retail products at a slight loss or even a big loss. Amazon really doesn't care if sales drop for a week or even a month or more. They are playing the long game like Wal-Mart has already done with retail stores in small towns. They plan to flood the market with low prices which competitors can't match until that competition closes down or you buy them out. OR your competition closes because Biden shutdown the competition.
You want to get serious cancel Prime and shop local mom and pop places. If you cannot buy local go directly to the manufacturer's website or use eBay and look for experienced small businesses with years of feedback. You will often, but not always, find that the manufacturer's website or eBay are cheaper than Amazon.
Yeah, but that's why going elsewhere actually helps. Most manufacturers will ship directly to you, sometimes with cheaper shipping.
And honestly, their prices often aren't the cheapest anymore. Their prices are usually "market price" for anything normal, same as going to Best Buy or Target or whatnot. Aside from that they are absolutely flooded with random cheap Chinese crap due to people grabbing stuff off aliexpress or wish and reselling it on Amazon.
They also have stock issues, probably due to scalpers finding them extremely easy to use. I can't tell you how many times I casually looked for a Nintendo Switch controller on the side of buying something else, and there were backorders going to the moon and back. Checked B&H photo on a random guess the other day. Bam. In stock.
There are some small-potatoes manufacturers that only put their wares on Amazon admittedly. Which is fine, but those are usually cute things like decorations or pillows or kitchenware or whatnot.
I only buy raw cones from amazon. Kicked Netflix a while ago. Don’t give money to Walmart or target. Fuck Starbucks.

Not difficult. If you can bring yourself to search amazon for product, ID the seller then order directly from the seller. You may not get free shipping but it’s worth the shipping cost
