Due to immigration, there's virtually no way America maintains what it used to be.
We're we a nation of immigrants? Yes. But white European immigrants.
In the 1950s, America was 88.6%
That is below 65% now.
The safest, most peaceful, classy, and elegant nations on earth are white nations.
Yes, there are plenty of other ethnicities who choose to assimilate with this culture, and are also classy, peaceful, elegant people.
But, when you mix cultures together, and the new immigrants don't seek to assimilate with the existing culture, you end up with a globalists nation that represents foreign interests.
We legit have plenty of Congress members from other countries, who clearly do not have allegiance to USA.
Their allegiance is to their home country, not America, and that's the issue.
If America continues its current route with immigration, we are completely screwed.
Population density alone, culture put aside, we have over 325 million people here today.
In 1950, our population was 150 million! Less than HALF!
More people = more problems = less opportunities = worse wages = worse life for all of us.
When will it be enough? Do we want to be a nation of half a billion? A billion?
I think the main drive behind immigration is a few things, one being to continue our GDP growth
We act as if our GDP growth is due to our economy growing naturally, but we don't account for the fact that over 1 million legal immigrants come to USA each year, along with a million illegal immigrants.
Japan, I think, is the proverbial "exception that proves the rule."
Safe, peaceful, classy, elegant, intelligent, industrious -- maybe a little odd, but overall a net positive to the world.
Also with a totally dominant culture and ethnicity with very limited immigration.
Japan's net decline in population, due to low birth rates, is a looming problem. Japan needs to resolve that, or somebody is going to resolve it for them.
Japan is the only "non-white" high trust society.
"White" countries aren't safe and stable because the skin color of their inhabitants, of course. But because they developed a high trust culture over many centuries. So did Japan.
My guess is that people who live for millenia in climates with extreme winters need to start to cooperate in order to survive; and only those societies that manage to develop high trust between its members will survive.
Coincidentially, long winters also cause the skin to lose melanin in order to be able to produce more Vitamin D in low sunlight conditions.
So the relationship between high trust and white skin is completely coindidential rather than causal in any way.
I have thought about that as well, the extreme winter hypothesis I mean. If you think about it on a basic level it would make sense that people with harsh winters would a) be cooperative b) plan accordingly and c) during the long winter with not a lot to do sit around and create or just think about life and otherwise prepare for the future in what ways you could. So the result is a culture that is cooperative and seriously concerned with the future. Skin color aside that is a pretty good recipe for a successful way of life.
