I would have to strongly disagree agree with that, I think President Trump was a Great President, but Reagan was great as well.
Unemployment- it took a while for Reagan to get his policies passed in Congress, so a lot of people site the 10% unemployment rate in 1982 as Reagan's fault, but those were a result of Carter's policies. Unemployment rates were going up with Carter, were at 7.5% when Reagan took office, were at 5.4% when he left.
Increased Wages- From the beginning of Reagans Presidency until the end, avarage income went up 75%, perhaps the largest wage growth under any U.S. President.
Inflation- Reagan lowered inflation from 10% to 5% when he left office (still high by todays standards, but the government learned to doctor the numbers since then
Government spending- although government spending increased under Reagan, it slowed its pace from 4% annual growth to 2.5% annual growth.
Tax Cuts- Reagan presided over the largest tax cuts in U.S. History. corporate Tax rates went from 48% to 34%. The highest tax bracket went from 70% to 38%, and the lowest from 14% to 11%
Foreign Policy- Peace through Strength, was a policy initiated by Reagan, and repeated by Trump. Reagan increases spending massively on the military, believing the key to peace and stability, was having a strong military as a deterrent.
This increase in spending also led to the end of the Cold War. The U.S.S.R. effectively bankrupted itself trying to keep up with U.S. military spending
The U.S. only had forces on the ground once under Reagan in Granada. The action was partially prompted by fear that 600 U.S. medical students in Grenada would be held hostage and it would be like the Iran Hostage situation all over again. U.S. troops were successful. Grenada has had Democratic elections ever since, and celebrate the day of the invasion as a national holiday.
And what doesn't get mentioned enough, is that Reagan, in part created his constituency. He had weekly Radio shows and went around he country giving speeches supporting his conservative policies for over a decade prior to becoming President. He was likely the most effective political speaker since Winston Churchill (perhaps more effective).
He was also extremely persuasive on a personal level, and was able to get Democrats to go along with some of his proposals,
You really can't compare the 2. During Reagans time, the Democrats were nto completely batshit crazy, and he was able to get them to work with him, which is why his policies have an enduring effect, because he was able to get legislation passed.
President Trump was in office were, the Democrats refused to work with him regardless of how sensible the policies may have been. So his accomplishments all had to be done under executive order.
Trump made Reagan look like a democrat, extraordinary four years!

Different Presidents for different times
