The article actually acknowledges the apparent contradiction. It says carbon stays in the air for a long time and has a warming effect but other types of pollution that has a cooling effect falls out of the air faster. Both are pollution, one cools one warms the cool one doesn’t last as long so when we stopped making it, the cooling effect went away. No idea how accurate that is since I’m not in environmental science.
Personally, global warming or not, I am all for cleaner air, land, and water. We breathe it, grow food from it, fish in it, and drink it. We should focus more on that.
My entire problem with all the climate change faggots is that they are arrogant to think:
Firstly we can’t even accurately predict rainfall. How the fuck are we going to accurately analyze the interplay between all the different wind patterns, ocean currents, gravitational/magnetic effects, volcanic activity, biodiversity changes, etc??? Secondly, the planet will be just fine global warming or not. As evidenced by all the previous catastrophic events, life always finds a way to thrive. Maybe that life won’t be us, but the planet sure as hell will be fine.
Once these arrogant faggots acknowledge that the only thing they are crusading for is self-preservation, I will take notice. Save the planet my ass
Yep. Instead of us adapting to a changing planet, we instead want to stop the planet from changing. One sounds a lot easier than the other.
My personal pet peeve is similar.... hippies going on about how Mother Earth loves us and provides for us. No, Mother Earth is a vicious bitch that kills us at every opportunity. WE provide for us, while doing what we can to keep her at bay.
Humans can and do definitely have power over this planet and the ecosystems.
My big issue is #2. Their actions are clearly fear politic and greed driven. Even if you assume they claim to be saving the planet for self preservation.
It's like any other science that the globalists are trying to use to further their narrative. It has a tiny nugget of truth to it, but the data has been so manipulated that it's not even worth the time it would take to untwist it to explain how.
Thing about China is they never stop polluting. China's pollution overwhelms that from anyone else so the fact that we stopped driving should not have changed pollution on the planet significantly. We may not have been driving as much but our cities were on fire and the west cost went up like a tinder box last Sept (beyond what I have ever seen in 50 years living out here).
I'm all for cleaner air too but that starts with destroying evil fuckers like VW who polluted with NOx for 50 years and lied about it. They should have been hung as an example of why you don't kill people for 50 years and make money off of it and have a squeaky clean image. Activists should still be going after them. But no, can't be critical of the EU because they are allies fighting climate change lol.
