I'm actually fine with this. Give the kids their snow days.

virtual classes are usually kind of a joke anyway and take almost no time. They'd still have their snow day.

I have a first grader with severe ADHD. Getting him to sit in front of the computer screen is hard enough, but he won’t pay attention/participate even if he’s medicated. He just sits dejectedly in front of the screen with a blank stare until it’s over.

After they went back to in person school last year they still have a few “e” days a month and we don’t even bother making him do it.

The only real education he gets is from me or my wife working with him on math or phonics ourselves or from the couple hours a week he gets one on one with his special ed teacher who is pretty good.

Public schools were a joke to begin with, and 100x worse due to the scamdemic; fortunately my wife has stayed home since this all started and has been able to basically homeschool them.

The other benefit to homeschooling is that they both know who the real President is, they say China virus not corona virus, and they know that joe Biden is a fraud who likes to sniff children.

Public school is a straight up disaster. If there is one thing any of us pedes need to organize around, it's abolishing public schools.
