Well, you can't really knock on doors by yourself..You need to raise money to hire staff and organize a ground game. This isn't some local election to a city council seat, you have to get your message and name out..You don't necessarily have to raise millions, look at Loomer she won despite the bullshit, so to did several other GOP candidates in 2020..
Not really. Josh Hawley only raise a Single Million for his Senate Campaign, and most Incumbents never really spend that much afterwards. For Example, I've never seen a Roy Blunt Commercial, and he's been a House Rep. and Senator for the better part of 20 Years now.
And it's fairly easy to raise a Million Dollars after the Primaries are done, since the GOP is required to give you some of their money.

Well... the way I see it. yeah it would suck not having him in Congress, but he'd be back in 2022, and meanwhile can truly make a name for himself, maybe become house majority leader in 2022. Then again in 2024 helping President Trump make America the greatest.
