If not for these rigid ideological attitudes we would have won, the people who folded under the pressure would have had a bit more rigidity, who they were representing would have been more clear, they wouldn't have had to default to safer positions, because our voice unified is far more powerful than divided. segregating a unified force into smaller groups is an age old tactic, still used today, to keep the people in check, to keep prisoners in check. By unifying on individual liberty, we enforce it, and it reinforces us as individuals.
