Anyway, mRNA is genetic material that contains "instructions" for making proteins. MRNA vaccines for Wu Flu contain synthetic mRNA. It enters the cells in the body and instructs them to produce the "spike protein" found on the surface of the SARS COV-2. The body recognizes the spike protein as an invader and produces antibodies against it. This technology has never been approved for human trials until now because the animals it was tested on for other vaccines (before Wu Flu) always died when they were exposed to the target virus in the wild.
The Johnson & Johnson vaccine just completed phase 3 trials. It is an old school vaccine like what you described above. If someone held a gun to my head, I would take the J & J vaccine. I will not go anywhere near the mRNA.
Very good explanation. The real issue is you are making your body cells produce the covid spike protein. You have modified your own cells to produce it. If at a later date you are exposed to covid, will your body then attack those modified cells? Will that change in your genetics be passed to children? I agree that we need a traditional vaccine before I will look at it. Way to much unknown for me.
