Key points of HR127

$800 “fee” per firearm

Magazines for all firearms limited to 10 rounds

Mandatory gun registration

Mandatory gun insurance

Mandatory gun safe storage (presumably inspectable)

Mandatory psych evaluation by the state (no recourse if they deny you provided, no time limit for the evaluation to be valid, they can deny for “any past psychological treatment”, and they can interview your ex-spouse)

Feature ban similar to the original assault weapon ban, as well as limits on grenade launchers, bayonets, and all .50 caliber bullets.

Rotary loaded shotguns are banned but the keltec dual loading tube shotgun isn’t because it’s not rotary

Private sales are restricted more

Mandatory periodic completion of gun safety course

Derivatives/copies of the AR-15 are classified as assault weapons but AR-10s are completely fine since AR-15s are derivatives of them. Glad I got my AR-10 already.
