I saw this in full force a few weeks ago. A couple guys came into my store from out of town. It was just the 3 of us in the lobby. While they were waiting on their order, we started talking about covid, which led to the lockdowns, which led to opinions about things. By the time we got to Trump, you could see in their body language and darting eyes that they weren't sure if they should come out with it. I did them a favor and just blurted it out: I voted for Trump, and I'm not at all ashamed of it. I could see the relief in their faces.

It really was a depressing scene. These are grown ass men, afraid to share their opinions with another dude for fear of getting a tongue lashing. Fuck that shit. What has happened to us? A majority of men voted for Trump, and the ones who didn't are a bunch of slack jawed faggots anyway. Who cares what they think? If it's a job loss situation, that's one thing, but in a situation like this where the other party has no power over you, you got to bring the truth and quite worrying about whether people are going to like you.
