Haha, i use strava, its an app for biking, where you can record your rides and see how you did compared to other members best times. You can filter by all, by age and only women. If your male and number one, you get the KOM, king of mountain, females get QOM, queen of mountain. So as you would imagine, most QOM times are significantly slower than the men. I would venture than 99% of women do not make it into the top 20% if you filter by all. 1% of females might make it into the top 20% if the segment is geared towards climbing, where a fit woman can have a higher strength to weight ratio, and actually have an advantage, or at least have an even playing field.

So, Just for fun, i was emailing them about something, and i asked “when are you going to accomodate trans females in the leaderboards”. They sent a reply addressing my other question, and completely ignored the tranny question. Thing is, people only pay for the app to be able to see the leaderboard, thats the primary feature to buy in. So lets say u/choomguy declares to them he is transitioning and wants to change his registration to female, in which case choomguy would now hold virtually all QOMs and still maintain his status on the “all” leaderboards. Im pretty sure no women would pay for the membership if they didn’t have fair access to the QOMs. So I’m going to push them on it, should be fun. They can either say no, and be hypocrites, or yes, and lose a ton of their female sunscribers. If i took a picture of myself with a wig on, I’d be much more convincing that rache “dick” levine, the tranny health secretary.
