To think that armed conflict is impossible is completely ahistorical. Most likely we will not see total war, but sporadic limited armed conflict...arguably we're already there. I guess you didn't see them close down the country and cause most people to cower in their basements while they destroyed our public civic areas, statues, public office buildings, storefronts everywhere, etc etc. They made us even too afraid to stop our country being stolen away in a fraudulent election. The Left has patiently and steadily infiltrated the culture. For too long, the George Wills dismissed it. It got to the point where like a parent who denies that a 9-year old still wetting the bed and torturing cats by saying "this is just a phase".
They also attack on all fronts, down to diet coke and two scoops of ice cream. We need to learn from their total culture war attitude. There was too much "Ah, forget about it, this variety of lunacy will pass" and yet whenever they got an inch, they took a mile.

Now we have states being boycotted by other states (Illegal in the Constitution but no action taken by Republicans) to get mandatory "Choose your own bathroom of the day".
