It’s a good move, but still a defensive one. We must go on offense slow this down. Glad to see states are taking steps at the local level, support these legislators.

Once precedent is set it's easier to follow suit, rinse, repeat. Hopefully the EO's are reduced to toilet paper and future presidents work with better future congresses instead of creating fake laws every 15 minutes.

Piss off enough states, 35 to be exact, and a constitutional convention will be called. The states will force fixes down the throats of DC.

Article V of the Constitution

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States [currently 34], shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States [currently 38], or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress ...

Basically, enough states can get together and say go fuck yourself, DC, what you’re doing is now explicitly illegal and any law contrary to these amendments are now void. Of course, everything is on the table so it all depends on what states wanted the convention to begin with...

TheTrooper424 17 points ago +17 / -0

And here I thought we ran out of hopium!

Convention of states had been considered the only option left until Trump was elected. Now it may be once again.

1
BewareOfThePug 1 point ago +1 / -0

ya still got to get them elected though.

7
TaxDollarsHardAtWork [S] 7 points ago +7 / -0

Hopefully we wake up enough people to this, otherwise they send the Feds to start arresting legislators. Don't think for one second that they aren't crazy enough to try it.

15
RealWomenLoveTrump 15 points ago +15 / -0

34 state legislatures pass a call for an Article V convention of states. One delegate from each state meet to propose amendments to the constitution. Whatever passes out of it, like term limits, etc, would have to be ratified by 38 state legislatures. No congress. No president. No scotus. Just the states.

Here's a link to an article about it from Freedom Wire. https://freedomwire.com/article-v-convention-of-states/

So like I said, piss off enough states and their legislatures, and they will force their will down the feds throats. I believe 13 states have already passed such a call.

13
Altairis 13 points ago +13 / -0

So then it's time to start getting patriots into the state legislatures so that we can start taking back our country.

7
ThreeHeadedEagle 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yes this is what we need to do.

2
SaltiTaralli 2 points ago +2 / -0

We gotta get rolling on this somehow while we control more state legislatures.

2
RealWomenLoveTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's been rolling. A group called Convention of States has been getting it thru legislatures for years😁

2
JohnParker1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Right on Baby!

1
NotAPuma 1 point ago +1 / -0

And how do we go about it? We don't control 35 states. We control about 20, with 6 more leaning Republican.

3
RealWomenLoveTrump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Republicans have a majority in at least 30 state legislatures. We won majorities in 2 more just last November. Like I said, the more of them the left pisses off, the more will act.

2
NotAPuma 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm also talking about the Courts and Governors.

1
brother_red 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fortunately, Article V state convention does not require the courts or governor - or the US congress.

-1
PB_Mack -1 points ago +3 / -4

You are assuming that a Democrat congress would accept that. And that the convention would not fuck over our 2a and 1a rights

8
JohnParker1 8 points ago +8 / -0

You're a negative. Quitters never win. Winners never quit.

2
Dimensia89 2 points ago +2 / -0

Doesn't work that way. They have to accept it, they won't have any say in the matter. As for the fucking us over part, there are safeguards that would prevent a runaway convention, mainly that any changes require way more than a simple majority vote in order to pass. I am not an expert, but Mark Levin and others are.

1
COLDWARPATRIOT55 1 point ago +1 / -0

You really need to study how the Convention works.

1
RealWomenLoveTrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

The congress has NO SAY in an Article V convention of states. NONE. And I do assume it would not fuck over our rights, for two reasons. First, the states calling for it thus far have set parameters on what is to be addressed. Even if that doesn't contain the amendments proposed at the convention, a majority of state delegates have to vote yes just to get it out of the convention. Half of the states will not vote to get rid of the first or second amendments. Even if they did, 38 state legislatures have to vote to ratify. So now that becomes an impossibility. These are big hurdles because whatever the states ratify BECOMES a constitutional amendment. PERIOD. No branch of the federal government can do jack fuck about it. They just have to live with it.

And laws are just words on pieces of paper. The police and courts can simply refuse to enforce it, or selectively enforce it. Politicians can pass laws and exempt themselves.

Ultimately society is a collection of people. Once people lose common values and common sense no system can hold back the chaos.

That's exactly why they used the Sniffles to initiate lockdowns, force Americans into house arrest, restrict movement, and jail citizens without criminal charges or due process. It is precedent for when, not if, Americans start to resist the communist regime. Congress will call it a "matter of public safety" and suddenly the military will be locking down cities, restricting travel, banning businesses from providing service to refugees, and holding Americans indefinitely.

This would fail if cops and the courts would actually protect the people but of course the DoJ is corrupt. Its why I no longer care if BLM burns down a courthouse or police station.

1
Heavy_Metal_Patriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm stocking up on popcorn because any day now, some black criminal is going to popped by the cops and when Biden doesn't poop magical rainbows on command, BLM is going to go bonkers...and it will be hysterical.

As an alternative to the guy freaking out about "losing states" to China, here is an actual breakdown of what happens after Texit.

-45
JohnnyThomas -45 points ago +27 / -72

NO! Do not give a single state to China!

EDIT:

FUCK YOU! Fuck every single one of you shortsighted downvoters!

What do you suppose happens if states like Texas secede from the union, huh? Do you think retreating will be a victory for the right? How long do you think it will be until "blue" ideas start invading the new "red" countries? What happens then? Do parts of those states start seceding from themselves too? You do realize that picking us apart piece by piece will still lead to them winning, right?

24
okayokay 24 points ago +30 / -6

At this point no matter what happens China will be the new world leader. Now it's about saving ourselves.

If we leave the country as it is and let the democrats rule over everything, that helps China. If the country breaks up China still wins. It's a lose lose for the most part but at least in one scenario we can hopefully save ourselves.

26
TangerineShine 26 points ago +26 / -0

I’m not certain if you’re correct. It seems to me that outside of The United States, many supported Trump and his movement.

People from Europe, Australia, India, Canada and many other countries were very common here after fraudulent election night. They all wanted America to know that they support Trump and liberty. We’ve seen huge riots and protests throughout Europe and Asia, speaking out against the lockdowns, people who are really pissed off at their elected leaders. I believe COVID showed us that liberty is alive and well in the hearts and minds of folks all across the world.

Fuck China, bring it on motherfuckers.

4
Isolated_Patriot 4 points ago +4 / -0

Canada not so much, we're talking like 1% of the population at most. Even the fundamentalist Christians here hate Trump because no one can even comprehend that the media would lie to them about how awful and terrible and downright mean he is.

1
Skyrison 1 point ago +1 / -0

what!? the media lies to me!?! D: why would they do that!? what's the point!?

14
DeJustice 14 points ago +16 / -2

Whats funny, is how many people such as yourself thinks this. You actually think they are doing this for China to take over? No China is just a weapon the globalists use. China will not be a power after this, they are weak, and will always be weak due to their governing ways. Their people will always be undereducated, underfed, and weak. Which is why they are attempting the same thing here. Underfed, uneducated, weak people can't put up a fight.

16
Sl0re10 16 points ago +16 / -0

If we stay togeather we will become weaker and weaker. Example: Gender quotas and general lowering of standards in the military. Country half the size could field a better military than what we have going on now... if it only had high quality people.

4
DeJustice 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes, but we aren’t underfed. We still have millions of men that would utterly destroy China. We are not as small as them, as underfed, undereducated. That is the state of the majority of their men. Hell I saw a video of all their soldiers crying acting like straight up bitches. They are not a formable opponent. They are attacking the only way they can, economically and politically. This is not pre nuclear tech, there isn’t a single way America becomes second fiddle to anybody. However, there are many scenarios in which we are apart of the global movement and become the spearhead. This isn’t like Roman times, nukes have changed the game.

2
Sl0re10 2 points ago +2 / -0

I believe you but my point is women, soy boys, over fed urbanites... most of whom do not exercise are a drag on our military. Example: Even if you have a female driving a vehicle is she going to be able to drag 220 pound men out if the vehicle gets hit... or what will happen if she is captured (the men will do stupid stuff to save her).

If your not a urbanite you may not see what I do... also; generally cultural conservatives do things for fun (hiking, shooting, et cetera) that are much less common in the general (re: blue / urban) culture.

As far as military strength the blue areas, with both their idealogy and human potential, they are a net negative. Imo

4
Snoman 4 points ago +4 / -0

That used to be true, but Chyyna has grown a large middle class as their manufacturing has increased. My opinion is that the globalist plan will be to utilize the CCP as the world police force given their surveillance tactics and the military their currently building

Oh, is THAT what it takes for Texan pedes to fight?

It's not communist ideas taking hold of our once great country, but instead it's people advocating for preserving the union and fighting leftism?

Well, look at the big balls on Texas!

Give me a fucking break.

We SHOULD be fighting to SAVE the union.

As I said in my edit to my original reply: if we keep seceding every time blue ideas take hold in red territories, we're going to be picked apart piece by piece until the only "red" left is communism!

STOP BEING PUSSIES! STOP RUNNING AWAY! FIGHT FOR YOUR FUCKING HOME!

You think the founding fathers fought and died so we could have good run for a couple hundred years, only for weak conservatives to give it all up to rabid leftists because that's the easy thing to do? FUCK YOU! FIGHT!

5

Look, you’re not from Texas so you don’t get it. Texans are Texans first, Americans second. Leaving the US is what most Texans have wanted since birth. We don’t need the US, the US needs us. Seriously. You’re not riling up any Texan with your speech up there.

0
JohnnyThomas 0 points ago +2 / -2

You think Texas is gonna last if you secede?

Austin already exists, buddy. You'll be splitting yourselves up as well in no time unless you start taking the culture war seriously.

5
Aoikaze2000 5 points ago +5 / -0

We should be avoiding a civil war at all costs, as right now we're exposing and dismantling the left's propaganda machine... and if there's ever a hope of winning, we've got to get that thing killed off AND also secure the vote.

Starting an armed rebellion at this point in time is completely foolish, and only gives Biden a flimsy enough cause to to straight into martial law, which means the USA goes full commie.

Use your damn head already.

0
JohnnyThomas 0 points ago +2 / -2

I don't see how any of that contradicts anything I said in this thread.

The fedgov is an organ of unseen forces, and pols are just their servants holding up a facade of representation. It's time for liberty-loving states to ignore the fedgov in order to harbor citizens who love America and its vision. Since such people are now being hunted as domestic terrorists, the need is there. Peaceful separation is in order.

-1
JohnnyThomas -1 points ago +2 / -3

You never answered what happens when the blue creep starts in those seceded states.

If these states are so freedom loving then they should be putting all of their power into organizing and fighting fed overreach from INSIDE the union, not retreating and buying just a little more time before they fall too.

4
Kaiheitai 4 points ago +4 / -0

Ideas aren't the issue. The issue is the globalists working through fedgov vs. the locals. If you have a fedgov declaring conservatives as terrorists who are unfit to live, it's too late to reform that fedgov - you need your own country to survive.

4
JohnnyThomas 4 points ago +4 / -0

THE FEDGOV HAS NO POWER WITHOUT STATE SUPPORT!

So we fight LOCALLY to disallow their overreach, and expand from there to take back the fed!

2
Kaiheitai 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's a good first step. Only issue might be density of cons. Given the wealth and corruption of the enemy it'll take a lot to overcome and we're in a very late stage.

2
marishiten 2 points ago +3 / -1

It's almost like you could build a fucking wall or something.

Or do you think walls don't work?

Immigration laws can be put in place against blue states so they can't enter red states.

It won't matter. The second a state secede's, the IA will be invoked and war will start. And it'll be all or nothing.

So shut the fuck up.

-1
JohnnyThomas -1 points ago +2 / -3

No, I will not "shut the fuck up"!

Maybe the USA is worthless to you, but I think it's still worth fighting for.

And walls can't keep out ideas, genius. And considering the left's hold on western culture, your new sovereign states would learn that the hard way real fucking quick.

You are falling for a demoralization campaign. Stop it.

2
Trumpy_Bear 2 points ago +4 / -2

No blue creep. There would be immediate halting of immigration into the red states, including if not especially from blue states

3
theglynn 3 points ago +3 / -0

1
Trumpy_Bear 1 point ago +1 / -0

Leftism is a serious mental cancer, and a split has to be made. There's a genetic component, so we can't allow any people from the Leftist states once an equilibrium is reached.

0
JohnnyThomas 0 points ago +3 / -3

And what about the internet? And movies? And music?

You think a land barrier is going to keep IDEAS out?

You gonna censor the internet? Speech in general?

The enemy is crafty. Secession would prove to be a bandaid over a bullet wound.

5
Trumpy_Bear 5 points ago +5 / -0

Ok... so your solution is to instead stay conjoined with the commies in the hopes they will one day stop voting commie?

You realize that one of the first steps to secession would be all the red states making massive changes to their constitutions, solidifying restrictions on government?

The GOP State Legislatures of Pennsylvania, Arizona and Georgia need to get their act together. Throw out every single RINO that Certified Election Fraud.

Follow South Dakota as the model.

  • The South Dakota Legislature is dominated by Republicans; 32 to 3 in the Senate, and 62 to 8 in the House.

The United States Constitution’s Supremacy Clause enjoins each state to follow laws that are constitutionally sound and only on issues that the Constitution granted purview to the federal government to determine.

If the federal government – be it the Executive, Legislative, or the Judicial Branch – acts unconstitutionally, the individual states have a right to ignore the transgressing edict. This notion was championed by none other than the great champion of strong central government, Alexander Hamilton, in Federalist No. 33.

Don’t come to ND. Our governor is a rhino and the legislature refuses to stop him. The largest city, Fargo, wants to be Minneapolis St. Paul. But if you do come we have a beautiful home you can buy.

Specifically, the proposed HB1164, enumerates the following issues for nullification:

Pandemics or other health emergencies

The regulation of natural resources, including coal and oil

The regulation of the agriculture industry

The use of land

The regulation of the financial sector as it relates to environmental, social, or governance standards

The regulation of the constitutional right to keep and bear arms

I am so happy to be in ND. I hope other states follow suit.

Great State but don't tell anyone. I always say ND is the best kept secret.

Spent 4 years in Minot. The state is beautiful the winters were quite harsh though if you aren't use to it. The way of life is very charming though, everybody knows everybody.

Flag_falsely 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nebraska here, how's the weather up there?

1
Lookthething 1 point ago +1 / -0

Cold, been a warmer year so far though.

3
Series3Gleaner 3 points ago +3 / -0

Dont know where you're at but our high for Saturday is -8.

Perhaps we'll actually have winter this year.

the only thing the fed government can step in for is if it's unconstitutional toward the people and the state has the right to tell the feds FUCK YOU

kleindropper 12 points ago +12 / -0

NoDakers will just keep fracking like nothing happened; I like it. Hopefully local law enforcement is tracking federal law enforcement and is ready to arrest them for illegal activities.

Series3Gleaner 4 points ago +4 / -0

To be fair we are kinda drilled out until technology catches up to drill down to the three forks region, currently that takes 6 months. 10 years ago the Bakken was at the same point and now it takes longer to set up the well site and rig than it does to drill the actual well. The three forks has the possibility to be most of the state, most of eastern Montana and a good chunk of the three Canadian provinces, and yield better and longer than the Bakken. There is still alot of wildcatting/experimental wells being drilled.

Fracking still takes a while, not as much as it did before, but still a while

We did it with marijuana we can do it with anything else unconstitutional.

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

North Dakota could literally join Texas and secede and the U.S would no longer be a superpower.

11
Series3Gleaner 11 points ago +11 / -0

North Dakota alone would be the world's third largest nuclear superpower

2
Senaleb 2 points ago +2 / -0

Also a Hockey Superpower.

2
Eatinglue 2 points ago +2 / -0

All the oil and all the nukes!

And all the best looking women..

Slave states/free states is what this is going to boil down to. Hopefully more red states will follow what Texas is doing and people can be free of this evil.

RoyalHammer 9 points ago +9 / -0

North Dakota is trying to save its look after cucking itself, unlike South Dakota Covid Response

1
Handy499 1 point ago +1 / -0

Governor is a giant cuck, that's that happened with the covid response.

7
PlantBasedMeatball 7 points ago +7 / -0

Don’t be fooled by anything coming out of North Dakota. Doug Burgum (Governor) is as AOC would say, is quit literally besties with Bill Gates... having spent years working at Microsoft and going to school with Ballmer.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doug_Burgum

Anyone ever wonder why MIcrosoft has a heavy presence be in Fargo ?

4
Series3Gleaner 4 points ago +4 / -0

Microsoft has been laying off people at Fargo consistently for a while, rumor is they are shutting it down.

3
PlantBasedMeatball 3 points ago +3 / -0

Off shoring labor is on the table again - makes sense...

2
Series3Gleaner 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah my uncle got layed off there and was told he could reapply to Redmond or some Chinese city north of Peking or Vancouver

1
PlantBasedMeatball 1 point ago +1 / -0

At this point Washington state is another country. What a world we live in...

2
Mrs.Frostbite 2 points ago +2 / -0

This! Fargo is mini Minneapolis St. Paul and our legislators refused to stop the dictator Burgum.

2
SludgeWarehouse 2 points ago +3 / -1

Unfortunately, you are correct on this. I would add that about half of the "Republican's" are actually more like Democrats in ND.

2
PlantBasedMeatball 2 points ago +2 / -0

Hahaha yes they are very much republican lite. Very much concerned about the optics all the time.

2
Eatinglue 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great Plains software was created by him and bought out by Microsoft...honestly the Burgum-Microsoft thing doesn’t bug me. Mask mandates have bugged me more.

LOL @ the libtards citing the Supremacy Clause. EXECUTIVE ORDERS ARE NOT LAWS!!!! you dumb fucks!!!!

5

Don't stop there.

All gun laws are infringements.

1

It's our constitution's first ammendment/point. Same level as God

5

Nullification. It begins.

5
Trump__Supporter 5 points ago +5 / -0

Nullify Biden.

5
AmericanGuy 5 points ago +5 / -0

Love that you said RESISTANCE. Disney beat that over ours heads for 4 years... time to show them the REAL RESISTANCE

5
black_fish 5 points ago +5 / -0

Good move but it needs to go further: nullification of federal law passed during the Biden regime. 1A and 2A issues especially. Call it a sanctuary state for all I care. Gun control's coming.

5
OrangeCatBad 5 points ago +5 / -0

Good, the constitution doesn't give the federal government authority over energy

4
The_Duke45 4 points ago +4 / -0

NotMyPotato Biden probably didn't even read what he was signing! He's made a lot of enemies on day 1 to now!

4

AND IGNORE ANY UNCONSTITUTIONAL SUPREME COURT RULING

4
deleted 4 points ago +4 / -0
4
AgnesDomini 4 points ago +4 / -0

YES. This is the way to go. Tenth Amendment guarantees. Anything not specified in the federal constitution is reserved to the state power. Texas is introducing legislation to ban federal gun law restrictions from being imposed. D.C. only rules by consent of the governed...and we the people no longer consent to surrender of our constitutional rights.

Burgum is a shitstain that waited until a week after he was reelected to instill a mask mandate, which he then extended for another month on Jan 18. I seriously doubt he will get another term as Governor, if he even runs again.

3

3

He will just demand federal funds be withheld from them, can't happen cause courts said Trump couldn't do that? You forgot there's 2 systems guy.

3

Secession is not the worst idea I've heard. I'd rather see those motherfuckers that cheated pay for it. But if it hasn't happened yet, it probably isn't going to.

0
lordmastern 0 points ago +0 / -0

They'll pay for it when their cities inevitably collapse when we abandon all ties with them.

3

Go North Dakota.

we can resist all we want but the oval office commie dictator is still alive and 1/2 brain dead ..i have been reading between the lines on some social media platforms that the powers over bidden are getting feed up (PENTAGON) and are not gonna let the freedom our military has fought for going back to world war 1 just disappear at the hands of our current communist administration. Trust what the oath keepers stand for. They are a fraternal of former military personal from all ranks of service ..the police and police unions, the volunteers of America..and so on. They take our countries liberty to heart, many have lost there lives for your freedom you enjoy today. Trust the fact they will act if they have to..Right now they observe.. This radical administration is doing a great job of further pissing off everyone off even our allies..so let the dumb donkey ass radical marxist liberals do they end zone dance right now.. pisslosi, scummer, zuckenturd, maxine waters ,presley , dorkey, aoc, ilan omar, teliueve, and all our republican traitors, just remember a large group of people took an oath to protect and defend our great country...and I will bet the house they will if they have to...

ND resident here: We don't get a lot of shiny spotlight moments, but we do have a lot of based common sense!

And we have farming and ranching, and lots of energy just waiting to be pulled out of the ground. We had plenty of missles too until they were decommissioned. (I always thought it would be pretty amazing in a scary sort of way to be driving along rural ND and see those silos open up to shoot the missles into the sky.) We'd make a pretty decent little independent country.

Joe Biden signing his "Executive Recommendations"

2
PB_Mack 2 points ago +2 / -0

You misunderstand what I mean when I say they won’t allow it.

2
Seruna_Kanus 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ya know, all the fools that support ending jobs with executive orders will be blindsided when a bunch of fast food work becomes illegal because the nanny state wants fast food and soda removed.
