This has been brewing for a while but the political stuff was the nail in the coffin for our relationship. It hurts to say it. I love the guy. But I can't be with someone who has zero fight in them and zero patriotism. I mean with as patriotic as I am now I can't believe it lasted this long. Can't wait to get out there and date REAL manly men lol.

I got extremely lucky that while my wife was a bit late to the station, she eventually hopped on the train with me.
We both started out as Bernie people, and even when he ran this last time she wanted nothing to do with him. She took his selling us out way harder than I did, because he was what got her into politics. She had been apolitical before then, so getting sold down the river by a politician was a new experience for her.
Just give yourself a bit of time to get over him, and to figure out what you want. It’s tough but it gets easier every day.
