This has been brewing for a while but the political stuff was the nail in the coffin for our relationship. It hurts to say it. I love the guy. But I can't be with someone who has zero fight in them and zero patriotism. I mean with as patriotic as I am now I can't believe it lasted this long. Can't wait to get out there and date REAL manly men lol.
Sorry for this post. I'm just a little sad and needed to vent.
Fuck that, be accountable and hold your fellow man accountable. When men stop putting up with shitty women and demand more of themselves, they'll get what they want.
The rising tide lifts all ships and everyone needs to focus on the one thing they can control; themselves.
It takes 2 to make a relationship work, and the idealistic mentality that you have is in part to blame for the dating mess we're currently in. Hold your fellow man accountable, sure. But also hold your fellow female accountable too, that's my point. Men are already held accountable; women are NOT. Plus, we also have to factor in that weak men and simps will always exist. By saying for men to control themselves, you're ironically pushing for something that cannot be controlled—other people. If you're gonna push for something like that, then you might as well push for it on both genders (side note: there's only 2 genders). Only blaming men will only get us so far. You'll need to change the culture as well so that women follow suit.
First thing I said was "be accountable."
We seem to agree, in doing so, you control the one thing subject to your influence; yourself.
I go on to say hold others accountable and when I say "fellow man," I mean men and women. The term once referred to humans (2 genders, scoops, terms, balls, tits, etc.).
But if we as men collectively didn't put up with this shit, women would conform to expectations. Yes, even in spite of simps. Simps are used as a means to an end; merely a tool. The same women who violate simps will drop them in a heartbeat for a crack at a man of value, honor, integrity and conviction. The sick irony being that such a man has no time for those women who would preoccupy themselves with using simps.
