I can explain this one: In Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, everyone learns English but they all have different accents because they sound like wherever their teacher was from.

I learned German. At no point do I have a German accent speaking English.

I guarantee she was born and raised in the U.K.

Well, I know a lot of Norwegians (I worked there) and the English you got came with the accent of whoever taught them.
