Lol, I'm not sure Dan was trying to create a bad version of Twitter, but that's what happened. Here's the CEO's parting line that pretty much defines the ethos behind why Parler failed:

“We were too successful too fast,” he added.

Bad version of Twitter? It was better. It was also the #1 app.. thats why it was canceled Dan had about zero to do with it... as I found his show extremely boring and full of information I found out on my own weeks earlier. Not against the man personally
