I wouldn’t mind taking AOCbot unit #87 home with me to tinker with.
That late in the production run, most of the manufacturing kinks would be worked out. Unlike the first dozen or so where there was that annoying bug that resulted in the reboot loop issue. Or the hair falling out problems seen in early revision C units.
I know a buddy with a firmware hack and he’s got his AOCbot pledging allegiance to the flag every morning. He is working on a makeHamSandwich script and seems optimistic on unlocking the sex drive algorithm sometime later this year.
The stuff the maker space folks are doing with the 3D printed teeth mods are also promising. Looks way better than the OEM trim level.
So there is definitely some potential there for custom programming and overriding the default socialistOS settings. In fact I think AOCbot is one of the better bang for the buck options in the human clone marketplace.
