➡️(I wrote alot, have a read) ➡️ Check out r/transgendersurgeries. It showcases thousands of surgeries to transition (mainly from male to female). The vast majority of these people are international patients that go to the US for treatment.
People on that subreddit showcase their numberous surgeries. Shoulder reduction (17,000 fucking dollars!!!), Dick removal (12,000 dollars). People also state their expenses for hormone therapy etc (1000s per year).
Now you need to remember, where is this money going? Who supplies these endless amounts of hormones etc? Who profits from this? Who's business would collapse if the trans movement stopped? Who would benefit most from children getting these therapies? Who would benefit from having more surgeries?
The answer is.... Giant multinational healthcare corps (you could call it big pharma). They are proven time and time over and over again that they are NOT reliable and cut corners to gain a profit for their shareholders.
They are pushing this crap, they are the ones who benefit.
The cosmetic surgery industry has become a predator on the mentally or emotionally ill. I'd wager that the trans surgeries are a mere pittance compared to the boob, butt, face, chin, calf, feet, vulva, enlargement, reduction, and other needless surgeries.
An acquaintance suffers from Body Dysmorphic Disease and has been through no less than 15 intensive surgeries over 20 years or so. The disasterous outcome is someone now strongly addicted to the opioid pain killers she is constantly prescribed.
In the dark days the trans stuff was known as Sexual Identity Disorder but the PC cops thought that too honest.
Wow that sounds gruesome going through that then ending up addicted.
