He’s the best and the silver lining in all this is having him as my governor. As bad as things will get with Biden, DeSantis will soften the blow. I feel safer here in FL, especially now that President Trump and his family are here too.

Misses is dead set on moving to FL now. I'm open but hot damn I love our small Ranch here. Move all the horses FFS. Then it's kind of swampy? I don't know a damn thing about gators. I've never been to FL but sure as hell sounds nice right now.

I was born and raised here in Pinellas. It is crowded but I do love the patriot community here. We have a group for mask freedom with a list of all the businesses that allow you in without a mask, a group to watch local government and a patriot group: https://community-patriots.com/

Pinellas is blue but just barely. We do have a good Sheriff. We are trying to vote out the commissioners who imposed a mask mandate against the will of the majority of the people. Trump lost by only 1k votes here, mostly because St. Petersburg is a sea of blue.

This is a spreadsheet of all the counties in FL and whether the schools have mask mandates and if they are red or blue.

Thank you so much for this! I really appreciate it! Pinellas area looks beautiful! not gonna show the Misses! Too close to big city for me though (I'm a country bub with horses so I think northern FL would be more for us? won't part with 'em). Think I need to have a look see in FL. Worst case I enjoy some decent weather and good food.

Is there a gator 101?

North/ Central Florida would be great for you for sure.

I just know not to let pets or small children get too close to the water’s edge at lakes. As long as you leave them alone they leave you alone. People even kayak through lakes with alligators.
