Manatee and Sarasota have mask mandates, dont come to the area. I dont care how much some of you like the beaches, there are others in the state in better counties. Manatee and Sarasota suck, period. I was born and raised in this area, trust me on this, there are better places.
Best to stay out of the cities near the coast in general, they tend to lean more liberal. Inland FL is more based, less population and often less BS policies.
Its not to say there arent parts that are
based af, but sadly with the infusion of Northern snowbirds and bringing their political ideas with them, its slowly turning the area blue. Im planning on moving out soon as I dont want to be here with the population expanding and all that.

I heard that the outskirts of Sarasota don’t enforce. I love the Sarasota parents that show up at their school board meetings. True patriots.
