Then they just call the cops and they take you away. The cops don't give a fuck about anything but their own paychecks

Then cause a ruckus and force the cops to take you away! Being passive doesn't resolve the cheating and it doesn't draw attention to it.

My solution is to not be a useful idiot getting arrested for no good reason and accomplishing absolutely nothing in the process

In other words, you would do absolutely nothing.

Getting arrested for refusing to leave you post when observing fraud seems like a good reason to me. And yes it would do something. It would draw attention to the fraud right then and make it difficult to ignore or explain away.
