3rd party Is coming folks get adjusted to it. The GOP and RNC are fundraising their own money, so all the talk of taking them over is a waste of time.

15
DongSquad420 15 points ago +15 / -0

The shittiest part is that the 3rd party isnt going to win jack shit for years probably because all the normie conservatives will still vote republican probably. So, we get to deal with xiden and probably (bleh) a president harris afterwards.

CanadianTrump 15 points ago +15 / -0

Welcome to Canada and the Peoples Party, the only actual conservative party.

Ralph-RaccooN 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hi fellow 1% in the polls.

11
DaayTerkErJerbs 11 points ago +11 / -0

Yes it will. Odds are the first round of seats taken will be in deep red states where the vote is around 65-35. Once the 3rd party takes enough of these seats that people view them as viable the Republican party is fucking done. Since most Republicans are actually Democrats I would expect them to try an do as much damage as long as they can making taking seats in areas more 55-45 more difficult for a while. 2022 a 3rd party would pick up quite a few seats. Maybe 1/5th to 1/4th of Republicans who aren't trash would switch parties so they don't lose to a 3rd party challenge. Right now a 3rd party conservative group has almost double the support of Republicans.

Cookie0 4 points ago +4 / -0

If many of the GOP join and about 1/3 of the Democrats that voted Trump join, we should be in good shape. If we stay with the Uniparty we aren't ever going to win anything ever again so what difference does it make.

4
Squeakyguy 4 points ago +6 / -2

The interesting part is where you think voting matters.

3
Kholland65 3 points ago +3 / -0

To be fair there needs to actually be a good 3rd party candidate.

10
ObviatingTyranny 10 points ago +10 / -0

I don't think it will be a disaster either. I think more people are eagerly wanting a REAL alternative to the pussy ass GOP AND there's a bunch of people who would join who already hate the GOP and have never gone along with it.

6
Morokei 6 points ago +6 / -0

gop is the third party according to Rasmussen.

“It will be a tragedy”. As opposed to what we’re living through now?

Just the last couple weeks: gop “neutral” in 2024, don’t support based Congresswoman, Fuckface McConnel’s daily pronouncements, and now Cheney survives a secret ballot.

Go to hell third party gop. Patriot Party got the mo!!

OrangeLivesMatterCA 33 points ago +33 / -0

I've been telling people that you can't take over the party because the entire fucking thing is corrupted. It needs to be destroyed and the people in it that are corrupt need to be arrested, put on trial for treason for the 2020 election. Hundreds of these corrupt elites ranging from the MSM, Big Tech, FBI, CIA, military generals, Massive Corporations profiting from Biden's bs EOs.

11
Peterfield 11 points ago +11 / -0

Correct. Both of the major parties are just working for different sets of corporate special interests so elections are nothing more than a game to them. The Big Tech and Renewable Energy Party wins so for a few years those companies' profit margins go up while policies favor them, then the Fossil Fuel and Telecom Party takes over and their donors' profits go up for the next few years, back and forth over and over again. Their representatives still live comfortably in between, so they don't care if their ostensible constituents end up homeless and starving.

We need a party that only answers to the people, but the possibility of splitting the vote would be the least of its problems. As we all know, Biden has actually said and done things far worse than anything they've even made up about Trump, but that gets swept under the rug since Joe serves the corporate establishment, whereas Trump is supposedly ten thousand times more evil than Hitler because he doesn't.

Likewise, regardless of its actual platform or demographics, any populist type party nowadays is not going to get treated any better by the media, bureaucrats, or other politicians than they would be if they were literally goosestepping around wearing swastika armbands. It's sad that our society has gotten to the point where wanting decent-paying jobs, reasonable taxes, and Constitutional rights to be upheld is considered morally equivalent to committing genocide, but nevertheless that's where we are.

In one respect that's an advantage because big-money donors will steer clear for the sake of their reputations, preventing them from overtaking it. The direct effect of propaganda would probably be neutral since it's just preaching to the choir. However, just like with Trump, the established parties will be able to leverage that reputation to justify obstruction, sabotage, frivolous investigations, malicious prosecutions, deplatforming, and rallying their own supporters.

Just getting onto the ticket in more than a state or two may prove virtually impossible. Even so, I'd have to agree it would still be easier than cleaning up the Republican party. The milquetoast RINO candidates are only the tip of the iceberg. However, with the elections being compromised, either option feels pointless.

5
Morokei 5 points ago +5 / -0

Merge with Constitution Party. They’re already in a number of state ballots. Existing already elected officials can immediately switch in those states for a jump start. In some states can run as independent.

Let’s think positively and creatively.

This movement is NOT a splinter group. We can light a fire!!

2
PraiseBeToScience 2 points ago +2 / -0

I wish we could get insiders in there who would just absolutely piss away the GOP's money on stupid shit.

2
TheWinningNeverStops 2 points ago +2 / -0

A-FUCKING-MEN! It was so cringy to watch a big portion of people here screaming to the gop(literally a repeat of the election month)about doing something only for the SAME THING to happen. WTF?! Either this place is compromised or this must be hell....

1
Corona 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nice rhetoric ol son but how do you suggest we do that? All of our communications are surveilled, so we can't even get past the talking / planning stage without arrests being made. Any critical chemicals or other materials are on federal watch lists, so as soon as you buy them the feds are coming to your door to ask questions and to surveil you. Some states even report when you purchase more than one firearm and I think like a 48-hour period. If you surmount all of those obstacles, people are so propagandized that they cannot agree on anything anymore, both the left and the right. Any "tearing down" should have happened on January 6th, but all the bluelivesmatter, lawandorder conservatives decided to turn it into the 1 millionth futile protest so their faces can be scanned and entered into AI recognition databases. So how exactly do you envision tearing anything down under these circumstances?

Observer95 30 points ago +30 / -0

Liz Cheney voted to impeach the president from her own party on false charges. A president with the highest ratings. A very successful president.

The base gets mad and the republican party ignores them and calls them cancer while they mock them.

<

Are people not getting the message? The Republican party is telling Trump supporters that they do not care for them. We do not like you. Leave the party. Go. We do not care about your interests. Go. LMAO

How the actual fuck is a secret vote allowed? We deserve to know who doesn’t actually represent us behind closed doors.

19

Apparently you don’t deserve any such thing, peon. Just shut up, wear the mask, and pay your taxes.

She's a fucking stupid cunt. No one likes her. I'm done with the GOP. I only vote for Trump approved people. Unless Trump says their name out loud in praise I will not support them.

12
buco 12 points ago +12 / -0

So 145 RINOs actually wanted to vote to impeach Trump, but didn't have the balls to go on record and do it.

14
Marina 14 points ago +14 / -0

Wait till after the fake impeachment trial. See if President Trump re-emerges . May go down the road of third Party. The GOP doesn’t represent us. They represent Strictly Foreign Countries. Sending all our money overseas. Oust and backstabbed our America First President. We need vote these people OUT.

Enoch_Mosley -6 points ago +2 / -8

In 243 years of American history, the only thing a 3rd party has ever accomplished is splitting the vote, thereby giving a string of easy victories to its ideological opponent.

14
Observer95 14 points ago +14 / -0

The Republican party was a third party.

10
Berglewits 10 points ago +10 / -0

Also to his other point, frankly at the moment the republican party is also our ideological opponent so there is no reason to care if they lose.

2
PraiseBeToScience 2 points ago +2 / -0

Republican party wins == we can relax a little bit and get on with our lives for a few years.

Democrat party wins == full-speed towards secession and civil war.

Win-win.

2
Enoch_Mosley 2 points ago +3 / -1

Yes, the Republican party emerged from the ashes of the Whig party, after handing the presidency on a platter to 2 consecutive Democrats.

If a 3rd party splinters off from the current GOP, it may someday become a political force. But if history is any guide, we'll likely have to live through 16 more years of leftist leadership to get there.

4
SpookySpook 4 points ago +4 / -0

We have been under, at least 20 years of leftist leadership

2
svlem 2 points ago +2 / -0

in 243 years of american history, no, wait... in tens of thousands of years in human history we have never seen such a wide-spread, global political fraud. I think today's circumstances meet the requirements of a Party out of the uniparty.

1
bit0101 1 point ago +1 / -0

You forgot about the Whigs. We've had a party die before to be replaced by a better one. The GOP is as rotten to the core as the DNC. They both need to go.

7
MsAnthropic 7 points ago +7 / -0

I think a new party is needed. The GOP is irredeemable.

6
LiskaEman 6 points ago +6 / -0

Fuck them all (almost). They’re out of touch, they need to go away. We need to 3rd party or Trump needs to clean house

5
RedditIsCommunist 5 points ago +5 / -0

The fundamental problem is that half of the population, almost all in rural areas outside of urban centers, is alienated and abandoned by almost all of the elites.

One way or the other, the leftist radicals will seize power. There’s no time to organize a third party and get them elected. Even if that happens, while all that is going on the democrats will de facto seize power via power grabs because there’s just no time to stop it. It’s going to be elites and urban supporters vs rural people with basically no elite support.

Read what Gene Sharp wrote and try to organize and prepare. I don’t know what else to recommend.

4
MAGAnic316 4 points ago +4 / -0

It's not a 3rd party though, not really.

It's really a 2nd party because the alternative is just the two sides of the same swamp.

4
Neonentity 4 points ago +4 / -0

GOP is Trump’s and only Trump’s.

These deep state freaks have no base as they are discovering right about now.

2
TheWinningNeverStops 2 points ago +2 / -0

Fuck the gop. It's dead stop trying to take it over. Just make a new one for fuck sakes. Too many snakes.

1
Neonentity 1 point ago +1 / -0

Agreed it's dead. I think it's really funny that McConnell and McCarthy think they still have a base.

Trump wants to remake the GOP.

Local-level GOP is very different from the swamp in the statehouses and the Capitol. There's a reason asshoes like cheney are being censured back home.

Imagine trying to replace all the local party infrastructure.

Build from the ground up and primary every asshoe.

3
Cookie0 3 points ago +3 / -0

I keep hearing a new party would be a third party, how does that figure? GOP and Democrats are in it for themselves a new party would be a party for the people. I only count 2 parties, right now we have ONE.

How dumb are Republicans? They had a man with unprecedented support and 75 million votes. At least. They should rally behind him and rally together. They could have been successful for years. Instead, they can never stick together and they never support one another or the will of the people. It’s a shame how they let it all slip away.

2
Pepe4Freedom 2 points ago +2 / -0

They even did a secret vote too. Because they know their decision is truely deplorable. They may as well just spit in the face of every person in America who supported president Trump. You guys need a new patriot party, or Texit.

2
EvanGRogers 2 points ago +2 / -0

Elections don't matter

2
leatherbottom 2 points ago +2 / -0

Totally. Some will say it's a problem because it will only fracture GOP, leaving Dems as a clear majority voting block. But I really don't care at this point, there is no way to salvage republicans. 99% of the leadership isn't representative anyway, so why not start a 3rd party? If for no other reason than to try and fuck them - we lose anyway.

2
ChikfilaFan 2 points ago +2 / -0

We're not like Antifa.

When leftwing activists are against the establishment they burn buildingsblack police officers like David Dorne . When we wreak havoc, we've realized Republicans and Democrats mostly work together as a Uniparty so we might as well screw over one side with our votes.

End of day, I'm not sure what the solutions are or how we get to them.

Election integrity is a huge first milestone.

Pretend you were born in a 3rd world nation with scam elections and you need to work with others to ensure we do not continue to have sham elections.

That's where we are now

4
Observer95 4 points ago +4 / -0

Third world countries are still trying to find the solution to the corruption.

2
80960KA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Honestly, 3rd world status is more just what you get from having endemic corruption.

If you're lucky, eventually you get Pinochet!

Who would have thought Myanmar, of all places, would illustrate our issues so completely and effectively? There are more of us than there are of them, when do we collectively say, "No" to every EO, law, tax, etc. that goes against our Constitution? Many of us will lose everything, but they're going to take it from us anyway.

Meanwhile, as I'm sitting here disheartened and disgusted, I looked over and noticed one of our moderators has this handle: Ivaginaryfriend. I almost messed myself laughing and enjoying that creativity :-D

Secret vote?!

2
Testamernt 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't think it will be that bad if said third party actually holds the government accountable and gets election fraud under control. There are enough "republicans" pissed off right now that I think with honest elections the left still doesn't have a chance. Without massive cheating, the left never wins anything. This election proved it. The last midterms with all of the mysteriously found uncounted ballots that wouldn't you know just happened to be all democrat proved it. This shit show won't end if we don't tear down the GOP and build a new party without any of them in it.
