It sucks but most white men are neutered and most of the psychopaths that seek power would rather keep it than do what's right. Being a white man in power means you're one step away from being replaced by a purple haired gender confused whatever if you misspoke and don't walk the party line. The problem is they haven't realized people want honesty and character not whatever bullshit they're doing in the senate. Or they are aware of this but as controlled oppo they know if they misspeak their next election will be rigged against them.
