why did they put SN10 right near the landing site??
From what I've watched of Everyday Astronaut, SN10 could already be a relic and it wouldn't matter if it was destroyed.
He complains about spending a month creating and editing a video only to have SpaceX technology change so fast that it's out of date before he's released it.
I kind of figured they found a flaw in the design that made it faulty.. damage from SN9 would give them a public excuse not to attempt to fly it
I spent two hours watching Everyday Astronaut videos at double speed this morning and all I can say is this; Elon Musk is an eccentric genius on par with Nikola Tesla, etc., but with seemingly unlimited piles of cash that he turns into rockets and blows up.
Who knows what's going on in his head. I do know that I never would have spent two straight hours soaking up rocket videos today if SN9 hadn't blown up and a fellow pede directed me to this video:
How Not to Land an Orbital Rocket Booster
Here's the posts with the videos that got me started down the SpaceX/Starship rabbit hole.
