the event that redpilled me was the start of the Iraq war. i was on board with Afghanistan, even thought about joining the service. then Iraq happened and NOTHING made sense.
I've always hated both parties. I got really into Bernie but once he started jerking off Hitlery I said goodbye, but I've noticed him get crazier.
I remember watching the Appearance with my dad as a kid so I thought it was funny that Trump had won but decided to actually look into his administration. I saw him get rid of bad actors, I saw him get the wall built, I watched him catch pedophiles, I got more back in taxes, I saw him go to NK, I saw him bring some stability to the ME, and I don't even know what else. I'm very grateful for President Trump and his family. Age 30, old dogs can learn new tricks!
Obama started it. I voted for him in 2008. By 2010, I noticed that he was a Muslim who hated America. Caused me to do a lot of digging, and went through a big waking up process. During that time, I also worked for a huge apartment complex, which was flooded by illegals. In 3 years, it seemed like all the black and white residents were mostly gone (that’s what the neighborhood had normally consisted of, for as far back as I could remember) I saw all the shady stuff they did with money, like getting government money, while working under the table. Also saw that they would go unpunished for all kinds of crime, like stabbings, domestic violence, hit and runs, drunk driving. One day, I was sitting in McDonalds. I saw one of our illegal, alcoholic residents slam into a car. The police also saw, right as it happened. I watched them stop her and talk to her, then let her call her daughter to come pick her up, and her car. Later, she and her car were back at her apartment, and nothing ever happened to her. I have so many stories like that.
Alex Jones back in 2000. Comprehensive Annual Financial reports and the classic old documentaries. This generation needs a new Endgame, Fall of the Republic, Freedom to Fascism, Obama Deception, Mind Control and Shadow Govt.
I joined the military in 1989. Stationed overseas from 90-94. We didn’t have smart phones. I think AOL got started while I was overseas. So I had no mainstream media telling me how to think. When Bill Clinton was elected in 92 he destroyed the military. I have never voted for a democrat since then. But I don’t think I really became a strong conservative until Trump.
Ron Paul got me started, but my true red-pill came from Obama and the Ferguson fake “hands up, don’t shoot” narrative. Seeing how the Obama, the Dems and MSM portrayed that shooting and the aftermath woke me up.
It was Ron Paul for me too. I got to meet him back in 2008. From then it was Murray Rothbard, Lysander Spooner and lots of other libertarians.
I learned then that we are not free, we don't own the things we have to pay taxes on, that taxation is slavery as they just take our labor converted into a medium of exchange.
I obviously knew there was corruption in government. But I don't think I realized the level of it until Donald Trump.
No matter how redpilled I think I am. Once I a while someone comes along and redpills me even harder.
