Lol @ "no woman, go cry!" Sadly, ALL of us with daughters will suffer the real-life effects of their beliefs. I'm really looking forward to the day my daughter will have to compete against a dude in a leotard. /s

Have your daughter learn music, ballet, art, hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening... Anything but runnin in circles with psycho boys for hours upon hours. Sports for men, eh, makes sense to some degree, sports for girls is a feminist fantasy now gone awry. "My daughter does field hockey and water polo and she will get a D1 scholarship...". Unlikely, in fact the odds are higher of being bullied, sexually harassed by dykes in the program. Cousin got into a good school based partly off athletics. Quit before first season ended, didn't want to upset parents with real reason, claimed shin splints and academic demands. Stayed at the school but they wanted to revoke every penny of athletic $ (she could have told them to expect a lawyer, but when you're young you often don't fight the powers).

My daughter is a competitive gymnast; I don't anticipate gymnastics being as big of a potential problem as some other sports. Men, generally speaking, don't have the grace and flexibility required for three out of four of women's gymnastics events. But it could happen and I suppose it's best to be ready for that possibility. USAG has already put forth regulations for this, allowing men to wear shorts during competitions so that their BITS don't come out of their leotards.

Sorry to hear about your cousin!

Women's floor and uneven bars will be a bloodbath with trans in them though. Rhythmic may be the new legit women's gymnastics if the trans do get into traditional In figure skating, trans will up it to multiple quads in free skate. The only skaters in their prime who could have competed against men are all retired due to age. Namely, Mao Asada and irina Slutskaya. PROBLEM Is Japan and Russia aren't the powerhouses they used to be. CHINA will probably be the first to send elite trans to compete and destroy the field. The only real hope a woman will have is that they have the artistic prowess of Michelle Kwan, which is not likely because girls are brought up focusing on triples instead of artistry. I can only hope the governing bodies have been pushing for a technical proogram because they were anticipating girls having to compete against boys and thus not getting totally blown out by them. The only legit way to balance it is if they implement a 1-2 handicap. That way it offsets the quads in skating and the triples in gymnastics. That or just shelf any program by a non bio woman. Judges get programs before they are executed. If aa skater submits a program and the technical elements are all mens standard, make them rewrite the program
