That depends on how you define left and right. Not trying to be "democrat" here.. but nazi's are usually seen as far-right; promoting the blond caucasian with blue eyes, the Arian race.

There is nothing ‘right’ about using identity politics. The misnomer that ‘insert skin color’ supremacy is right wing is the most ludicrous shit I’ve ever heard. It is a Marxist, socialist, communist technique (us vs them) to gain control of the populace. It is a LEFTIST value. Which is exactly why we see the left playing that exact game. The right focuses on the INDIVIDUAL. Which means individual actions are what you use to judge a person, not the actions of the collection of their intersectionalities. Nazis were right wing is the biggest ‘blame the other side for what you are doing’ ever.

The Italian fascism seems less associated with ethnicity -- perhaps because Italy was more ethnically mixed. Ethnicity is not an essential part of fascism according to Benito. National identity is. For Nazis, from what I see, the national identity was strongly associated with ethnicity, and somewhat with language and culture.
