I give him credit for all the good he did and for being a great guy. But sometimes I wonder how much he actually has in common with his supporters. He didn’t fire Fauci, pushed hard for experimental vaccines, endorsed RINOs, nominated Catholics for the SC, shutdown travel to the US as if covid was some major threat, canceled the RNC gathering over covid, pardoned lil Wayne instead of Assange, left Joe a nice note before handing the country over to him, was all talk on election fraud, still claims he saved millions of lives (no he freaking didn’t) by shutting down the country over covid, wore a mask (rarely, but still), didn’t fire every Obama holdover in the CIA and FBI, catered the fake racism narrative that black people are victims, and so on. It’s been awhile since he did something I actually agreed with.
Trump did great in lot of ways but his pandering and love for admiration were the major reasons why he couldn't push the Overton window right. I feel he was subverted by his son-in-law and daughter; inviting them to the white house was the worst thing he ever did.
You gave a good assessment. Many people in the dissident right give an unhinged reaction to Trump without giving him an honest assessment. I just wish he was stronger. The next populist won't pander or be nice like Trump. We need a stronger form of Trump(2016-2017 Trump) not a smarter form.
