Our anger and frustration with the party can't mean that we don't vote or that we just disengage. It has to be that we target our votes and money to candidates that will win and who support American values.

Personally left the Republican party after decades of voting basically straight ticket in January. I will now just vote for the people I believe represent my views. I will not vote R 'just because' any longer - I even voted for Mittens (I really held my nose on that one). No more!

Good luck with that. It's not easy knowing which candidate is actually like what, and even if you do make a conclusion, the Republicans tend to stab you in the back when time comes to really back their constituents.

No, the solution is a new party. In a few years the GOP would be dead and all the patriots would be voting for the new patriot party
