If this headline is part of a larger policy, they're consciously or unconsciously gearing up for an age of conquest. Our culture's collapse is already underway and I doubt it can be resuscitated. The fact that our govt was just openly stolen and the citizenry didn't even care (more concerned with their own lives and making money) should be all the evidence anyone needs.

Likely, it's the same outcome that befell all of the great empires.
