When a teacher or other government official determines that you have the body to be good at a certain sport, then winning an Olympic medal becomes your job. You will be sent to a special school and train every day. Nobody cares if you "want it" or have any "ambitions". That's what brainwashing is for. They just make you believe that you want it.
